DESCRIPTION:RENTON: 901 Rainier Ave N\, B-201\n \n\nSPANAWAY: 15413 First Ave CT S\, 2-C\n\n \nPLAY Therapy offers early learning and support services for children\, ages 3-5\, impacted by mental health and trauma facilitated by our inspiring team of expressive arts therapists\, who specialize in play\, music\, art\, and dance therapies. \nPLAY Therapy  also utilizes ABA therapists\, occupational therapists\, peer support specialists\, case managers\, and social workers to meet the developmental and psychological needs. \nPLAY Therapy is available to families up to three days a week for 3.5 hours at our Renton and Spanaway sites. Allowing caregivers some respite during the week om Mondays\, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10:00am to 1:30pm to self-care and reset. \nPLAY Therapy also provides up to 4 hours of Caregiver Respite on Fridays and Saturdays at one of our two locations. \nRegister Today!

DESCRIPTION:Empowering HER is an exciting and dynamic program designed to equip youth\, ages 10 and older as well as their mother/mother-like caregiver(s)\, with the confidence\, knowledge\, and tools to shine in every aspect of their lives and relationships. Picture this: you arrive at a serene venue\, greeted by the soothing sounds of a live sound bath\, designed to melt away stress and prepare you for a transformative journey. Following this\, a gentle yoga session will help you center yourself\, setting a calm and focused tone for the days ahead. We believe that starting with relaxation allows you to fully embrace the empowering experiences to come. \nOnce everyone is relaxed and rejuvenated\, the real fun begins! Empowering HER is packed with engaging and hands-on activities that cover self-awareness\, emotional intelligence\, sharing power\, and communication; tools all members of the tribe need to sustain. You’ll have the chance to collaborate with peer mentors and other youth and caregivers. Empowering HER isn’t just about gaining skills\, it’s about creating vibrant\, supportive sisterhood that celebrates and amplifies each youth and woman’s unique potential. Get ready to eat\, laugh\, learn\, be inspired\, and lead like never before! \nHOW TO REGISTER: \nEmpowering HER will offer one offering this summer at our Renton office on the following two (2) Thursdays\, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Dinner will be provided. \nYouth and mother/mother-like caregiver must attend both sessions in order to receive a $50.00 VISA gift card for the family. DESCRIPTION:Discover the healing power of nature! \nJoin us as well as other youth\, ages 11-17\, as we explore the great outdoors\, engage in mindfulness activities\, and connect with others in a nurturing and inspiring environment. Through guided exercises and meaningful discussions\, you will learn valuable coping skills for sustainable success\, build resilience\, and find inner peace amidst the beauty of nature. \nEmbark on a journey of sustainable growth and self-discovery with the Sisterhood! \nMany of the Nurtured by Nature activities will take place outdoors at parks and beaches. We ask participants dress for the unpredictable Washington weather\, including shoes appropriate for trail walks and beaches\, and bring the following items each day: \n\nReusable water bottle and backpack\nAfternoon snack (nut free for allergen safety)\nSunscreen (and Chapstick\, if needed)\n\nHOW TO REGISTER: \nNurtured by Nature will offer one session this summer at our Seattle office from 10:00am to 2:30pm.
