Summer Programs 2017

HER STORY / July 10 – 14

(site: South Seattle)

Do you love to write? Do you have a story to share? Well this is the camp for you! Campers will learn how to find, and trust, their own amazing and original voice through expressive writing. Learn new literary techniques, extend vocabulary, and be empowered to show their creativity. This fun and engaging camp is designed to increase the campers love for and skill in writing as well as public speaking. Campers will end the week as published authors!

(site: North Seattle)

We all know about selfies, the smartphone self-portrait. Taking inspiration from the great Frida Kahlo, we’re going to return to this original art form of self-expression by painting a self-created image. In this camp, we will use art to explore body image and self-esteem while promoting creativity and confidence. Campers will use mixed mediums to create a series of “selfies” that highlight their individual strengths and beauty.

D.I.Y. GIRL! / August 14 – 18

(site: North Seattle)

Come learn how to be a Do It Yourself Diva! Join us as we work together to create personalized charm bracelets, time capsules and more! Through real girl talk, empower yourself and other girls with fun and creative skills. You’ll discover that you can make some of your favorite must haves all on your own!

Pre-registration is highly recommended as our camps tend to fill up quickly!
